Fun at Egan's

We had a packed house (sorry some of you couldn't get in----next time!!) and what an ideal audience it was, including so many good friends and new faces. And one couple who said they had no idea who we were or how they got on our mailing list but they decided to just check us out----for that gambling spirit their $10 bills in the hat were the most appreciated of all, and fortunately they thought it was worth the gamble.

We stayed afterward for a bit to have a bite to eat and watch the next show, Rochelle House, who was the perfect after-gig wind-down. Mellow, thoughtful, clean and studied jazz standards and at least a couple of her own, with two wonderful accompanists on guitar and bass. Hated to leave early but we wanted to go hang with Katie and pals for awhile.

Thank you, everyone, for coming out on such a cold night. It was so much fun to sing for you.

September Concert on the Peninsula

    Thanks to Gale and Steve for hosting our house concert. It's always been one of our favorite ways to present our music. Please contact us if you'd like to host a concert, or have a friend who might!

Never been to a "house concert?" It's a great way to hear acoustic music in the comfort and intimacy of a beautiful private home. No hissing espresso machines, no huge over-powered speakers. (Plus, there are usually cookies during intermission!)

Tumblin' Tumbleweeds

 We had a fine time singing over Labor Day Weekend at the 2010 Tumbleweed Music Festival in Richland, WA. Not to mention some excellent Mexican food.

Meet the Seatles

"The Seatles", a home-grown fab-four sing-along band, performed at the Folklife Festival in May and the Columbia City Beatwalk on July 9. Thanks to the great folks at Awash Ethiopian Restaurant for their hospitality and terrific, savory food. The Seatles will go back into hiding for awhile... er, what I meant is we're on our world tour!!

Seatles 2010 stars Peter Langston (fearless leader, vocals, and bass player), Lance Haslund (equally fearless on lead guitar and vocals), Bob Conger (mostly fearless drummer extraordinaire), and Greg Scott (pretty much terrified rhythm guitar and vocals.)
